On this page you will find any special lessons I do. By clicking on the link you will be able to download any power point lessons I have uploaded to your computer for use in your own classroom. You will also find links to any WebQuest lessons I have created.

You will, however, not be able to make any changes to the power point(s) because I have locked them from alterations and WebQuests I publish are published as is, for use but not alteration.

You can find the lesson plan for any special lesson listed here in my lessons blog,

Education Discovery Lessons Corner.

To the right you will find a link to a WebQuest I created & published that is tied from the story One Candle to the history of the Holocaust, designed for 5th graders...

In this WebQuest, students will have the structure and tools necessary to learn about the Holocaust.

Students will travel back in time, through the story that great-aunt Rose shares with her family. The story One Candle will show 5th graders life through the eyes of those who lived through the Holocaust.

After they read the book students will keep notes, complete the activities, and create a work of art in their journal.

Their job is to gain an understanding of what the Holocaust was as well as look through the eyes of children who lived through it. Their journal will be documentation of their research through this WebQuest.

The lesson found directly to the left is an Interactive Power Point lesson titled Introduction to Music; Beginner's Music Theory. I created it for elementary students who are learning the basics of music theory and can be used with 3rd-5th graders.

This lesson should not be used alone, it should be used with in-class instruction but this can serve as a stand in lesson or a review.

Students will have various informative slides, a few questions they must answer correctly in order to move on, and a mini video clip.

Click here for the Lesson Plan to go along with it.

Enjoy!
